None of tonestack presets 2.0 are working

Great app with great features!

This is a great app, with good sound and fantastic features.lot of amps and tons of effects, but best part is the dual chain possibility and the fact that u can load as many effect as your device can manage! Really wort the price and can compete (if not win) with jamup!

You guys Rock !

The best guitar app on the iOS world ever, and keep improving each update. Loving it and recommended, tho whole Motherload iap is a must. Cheers :)

Good application but needs some improvements...

I have purchased this app and some bundles...the sound and the signal is the best quality on the AppStore...the dry signal (without effects or amps) is very close to the original and this is very good thing. There are some issues with volume of some effects...the quality is the best.

Keep an eye on this one

I own most of the notable amp and fx modelers for guitar, and although Tone Stack doesnt have the overall polish of Jam Up or Amp Kit, it still has something to offer. I feel Tone Stack beats out the others when it comes to the tone and tweakability of effects. I like that Tone Stack gives the option to bypass the amp modeling and use it purely as an effects processor, as I prefer the sound of my own amp. Also, the line selector functionality is very cool and really expands your tonal options. I hope future updates streamline the UI, as flipping through modules and saving your setup is less intuitive than other programs. The ability to more easily identify what effects are on or off would also be welcome.

Wow. Thats all.

I think somewhere deep down I still didnt consider iThingies as bona-fide music production tools. I believed I already thought highly of their potential, but my immediate reaction to this app made it clear that I was living a lie. Im not looking for a program that will make me or my device sould like a gazillion-dollar recording studio. (Gasp.) Im not trying to imagine what that would sound or feel like. In fact, I dont want to imagine at all; I want to remember. What I remembered while playing with this app in the Audiobus effects slot was being about 14 years old, sitting on the edge of the bed with lime green shag carpeting on the floor, and me with my old Gibson and one flip-flop (so I could use the stomp box without getting a sore spot on the bottom of my foot), trying to coax the perfect sound out of an amplifier that was so old it had no right to be considered anything but a fire hazard. Brought a tear to my eye. This app is the real deal. Its immediately clear that a lot of effort and attention went to accuracy. This isnt like some random photo filter app where every setting gets a neat name that doesnt really mean anything... When Yonac says "vintage british", you can actually hear it. Change the lineup to something more "90s", and before Im done wondering "what in the world is one setup called 90s going to sound like", Im trying to wipe that cheezy grin off my face again. Theres enough accuracy here to put on a blindfold and learn some things. Absolutely perfect sound quality. If theres a pop or a click, its supposed to be there. Thank you, Yonac. For an app that can bring a nostalgic tear to my eye, you can name your price.

Tone stack a true monster app!

Ive been playing guitar through real amps for over 40 years. Not many modeling amps or software have impressed me much tone stack is. Five stars. Use it direct to daw and through my superchamp x2 amp w its modeling set to a clean amp amazing sounds

Nailed it!

As a stand alone effects processor NOTHING else on ios comes close. The effects are robust and accurate. The Rotary box is amazing,Doppler, timbre, the warble, sounds very authentic. As far as amp simulation, its pretty close, proly an update to refine things, but otherwise simply outstanding.Using ipad2 ultra low latency, high quality simulation setting. Works perfect. No drop outs or noise! Note;when using A&B box(ipad2), it taxes out the processor, but I personally only use one amp anyway so problem was avoided.Pretty sure newer devices have no issues with that.

A genuine contender

This is the first app that can get in the ring with Jamup and actaully give it some comepetition. I have Jamup/BIAS, Tonestack, Amplitube, Ampkit. Jamup/BIAS and Tonestack are probaly the best of the lot. I really love this app for the mere fact that it has A/B amp rigging as well as some very good Marshall and Fender-y tones. The FX are superb and quite authentic. Its not tubes - lets get that out of the way. But i have to give Tonestack the edgein terms of tone.Jamup does a good job on the hi-gain/ultra-hi-gain metal tones. Tonestack gets the nod for more of the classic tones however. I can get killer Eric Johnson/Hendrix Plexi and JCM tones easily.Im not so much into the super high-gain crunch and thats probably why Jamup appeals to the metal scene players more than others (look at their endrosing artists). Tonestack goes the other way - and it gets those classic amp sounds pretty well. Its a bit more intuitive to work with as well. Im sure therell be addon-ons and Im excited to see what the developers will do with this app.

Excellent

I use Bias and I love it, but I read about this and thought Id check it out at the introductory price. So far its a great modeling app with many nice options even in the base setup. By far the most impressive and standout feature is the ABY splitter, which lets you set up separate chains for left and right channels. Ive just started to dig into this, but the possibilities seem endless, mixing different amps, cabs, and effects across the left and right, and having the ability to control the separation. The preset chains give you great examples of the potential of ABY. Try it, youll get hooked. One thing I would love is the ability to control the AB pan with an expression pedal...

Fantastic app!

ToneStack definetely gives the other guys much to worry about, qualitywise, especially the truetone analog quality of the kick-butt effects...I am very happy, except for the fact that tried as Ive tried, I cant, for reasons unknown, download their current 50 percent off bundles sale...

Great Sound But It Is Not Stereo In/Out

Dont fool yourself and think by messing with the ab splitter youll get true stereo output. The effects are outstanding though. I havent messed with the amp sims. Make this same app and have true stereo multi effects and I will pay twice as much. Btw I bought the entire kit and kaboodle and I am glad I did because I play guitar. But I also use synth apps and true stereo would be nice.

Lots of in app purchases

I was under the impression that when I bought the app all the amps would have come with them. While this isnt deplorable because I bought it for 99 cents, its sort of misleading. I was like "wow 99 cents what a good deal!" Then I bought it and it turns out I only get 3 amps and have to pay for the rest. If I had known I wouldnt have bought the app in the first place. Well played Yonac, you got me.This will likely be my last Yonac purchase.

It works with Audiobus...

I had to search this app out after Bias and related apps stopped working with IOS 8. I prefer the sound to Bias, and it works beautifully as an inter-app plug in in Auria. A little pricey, but theyve put the time in to make it work with the new IOS, and I record nearly every day-so...they earned my money by keeping up. I have found the Yonac apps to be very well made overall. Nice work folks!

Works pretty well

Very powerful, will utilize as much power as cpu has for highest settings. Would not advise chaining with audiobus due to speed. Could use a few more effects

Im Blown Away!

I own every app that Yonac has developed for iOS. Theyre very good with synthesizers. I just didnt think they would be able to do an amp modeler. Im glad they proved me wrong. The ability to mix amplifiers is probably my favorite feature in this app. This gives me a more professional sounding studio sound. Its got everything from crystal clean Fender style sounds to over-the-top distortion like you find in todays metal. The effects dont just sound good, they also have mix controls so you can dial-in as much or as little as you like. Im very impressed with this apps amplifier selection. Theyve got it all here. If youre looking to do some direct recording and you want the best sounds that you can get, I think this is what youre looking for. I need to add on major gripe. The noise gate is horrible. The high gain amps with drive pedals make a lot of noise and the noise gate just doesnt cut it at all. This is very important if you like intense gain saturation. This is a glaring flaw in my opinion but others may disagree. Good luck to you.

Absolutely Everything

Outstanding amp simulations, Phenomenal effects selection and emulation, simple & intuitive interface, lowest latency I have seen in an app like this, and this one definitely stands high above the rest. WOW! Get It!

Good sounding Guitar app

I will echo Gitarzz words: The noise gate is horrible, doesnt do a whole lot. I cant figure out if I can dial in some heavy tones because it is always squealing and screaching with high gain amps and distortion pedals. I love the always on tuner, that is very cool. I feel that the sounds/effects are a bit, ?? electronic sounding? I still prefer JamUp Pro to anything out there, the sound quality is second to none. But, for the intro price, the base of the app is very very good.

Great Amp and Effects Simulator

Opened this app and started having loads of fun straight away. The sims are fantastic: great quality and a broad range of amps, cabs and effects. All this and the ability to split and merge signals. Awesome!
